Luscious Lawns

Luscious Lawns is part passion play / part tour of grass.

The grass will be real / so will the feelings

* …with just enough wildness so that we can control it (“Without obsession, life is nothing” –JW)

***Luscious Lawns is a tent show. A two-tent show, actually. Be ready to crowd into our tents with us (mask on) and to crane your neck. While we would never embarrass you, you’ll be invited to participate in some aspects of our lawn worship. Outside the tent, we’ll have a few actual chairs, and we bet you’ll see some interesting things from there, but please be advised that because it’s a tent show, you may not hear or see everything from the seats!

Luscious Lawns is written/directed by Darcie Dennigan and has these very special guests, in reverse alpha order

Monica Shinn as Fiacre, patron saint of gardens and landscaping (also taxis)

Sol O’Connell as the beleaguered stagehand

Tânia Montenegro as the Totally Obvious Audience Plant

Bay McCulloch as Bohumil, the giant and sweet bird genetically altered by Round-Up

Jessie March as Timothia, the high-romance-of-the-grass girl

Teddy Lytle as Mr. David

Janaya Kizzie as Dryad

Julia Jarcho as a special guest

Mare Davis as Abilene, the landscaper’s girlfriend

Kate Colby as Madge

Mary-Kim Arnold as Grassly St Teresa
